I found this bug after Googling and finding this: http://swiss.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1303703 Sadly that thread is closed so I could not refer to your suggestion. I am facing the issue with a Lucid Lynx i386 Desktop install. I have Win7 installed already with 40GB free space on the SATA HDD on which I want to install Ubuntu. At Step 4, the "Prepare partitions" table is empty.
