The problem is that the Amarok-icon is not a normal systray (notification-area) icon anymore, but integrated in the new menu-style indicator-applet. Is there a way to configure this applet, so it ignores amarok and you can get the old icon back?
There is a lot of missing functionality, and I think some people (like me) like the old behavior (click to hide/restore the amarok window) way better!
