Additional comment: Even worse is this bug, when I configure console-setup FONTSIZE="8" which I did to get more lines without having higher resolution (fbcon not working) : When it goes wrong, fontsize defaults to 16 and then bottom halfs of consoles are completely out of visible screen area.
