Hi Jeremy, Thank you for the inquiry. I have not tried doing anything further on my own; I chose to stick with ubuntu 8.04 for my Dell netbook.
Perhaps you sent me a "form letter". I looked at the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ <http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/> and was not sure what you meant by "latest development release". Also, I was not sure what machine I should be trying that realease on. So I have chosen to not do anything further unless you can clarify what you are asking. I am what you might call a "newbie" as far as trying to debug linux releases.
