Hi, this bug affects also 9.10 et 10.04-RC.

On karmic, the installer gives me this output :
disk-detect: ERROR: either the required RAID set not found or more options
required

And on 10.04-RC :
disk-detect: ERROR: ddf1: wrong # of devices in RAID set "ddf1_4......" [1/2]
on /dev/sdb
disk-detect: ERROR: ddf1: wrong # of devices in RAID set "ddf1_4......" [1/2]
on /dev/sda

Looks like Intel ESRT-2 driver is missing.

Hope this helps,

Eric
