sony vaio model VGN-AR670

As u know in Sony Vaio we have 2 buttons to open a CD ROM, one normal,
and other one functional which is next to the keyboard. and that 2nd one
is not workin in Lucid Ubuntu 10.04. It worked perfectly in Karmic 9.10.
Its a regress.

ALso brightness buttons are not workin and they didnt in any Ubuntu
before.
