I changed the description. It is now clear the Gwibber is following the specification (except for Bug #549000), while Empathy is not.
** Description changed: Binary package hint: indicator-me + + According to the specification, the status options should only appear if + Empathy has at least one account set up. This is not currently the case. + They always appear. + + Original description below (was originally about inconsistency between + Gwibber and Empathy, but now it is clear the Gwibber is right and + Empathy is wrong): When Gwibber has not been started, the text field in the Me Menu is disabled by not appearing. When Empathy has not been started, status changing in the Me Menu is disabled by graying out. *Both* should not appear or *both* should be grayed out when disabled. The current behavior is inconsistent.
