Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
In the "prepare disk space" step, when you select "Specify partitions manually (advanced)", and click next, you land in the "prepare partition". In that window, you have a list of devices, for each partition, but you do not have a "Label" name on each partition that have one, which is very annoying when you have a lot of partitions (see screenshots). There should be a label name displayed for each partition that have one, and it will be much easier to select the right partitions to configure ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: ubiquity 2.2.20 [modified: lib/partman/automatically_partition/question] ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Apr 23 18:02:44 2010 LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Release Candidate amd64 (20100419.1) ProcEnviron: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubiquity ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- no partition name shows up in the manual (advanced) partition setup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/569083 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
