  Binary package hint: kdepim
  
  I had just setup 2 email accounts.  one a hot mail account the other a
  personal domain email account.  I sent a message from the default
  personal smpt account right after it completed i clicked on sent mail
  and kmail froze up and stayed hourglassed. til i killed
  process...relaunched and working ok now.
