gnome-screensaver outputs the following error when started from a command line: ** (gnome-screensaver:13253): WARNING **: Failed to get session presence proxy: Could not get owner of name 'org.gnome.SessionManager': no such name This looks, as if xfce4-session should register itself somewhere and might seem to have the same reason as bug #564831 .
