Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
I opened a videopodcast, which made rythembox suggest that i should install a mpeg4 (proprietary) codec. After having installed the suggested codec the line under the play button in rythmbox does not move anymore during playback and it is not possible to drag it back and forward to skip to a different time in the file. Im running Ubuntu 10.4 beta and Rhythmbox 0.12.8 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: rhythmbox 0.12.8-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Apr 19 01:27:22 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/rhythmbox InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100318) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_DK.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: rhythmbox XsessionErrors: (gnome-settings-daemon:1134): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_format_get_name: assertion `format != NULL' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1160): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (nautilus:1162): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_format_get_name: assertion `format != NULL' failed ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- Instalation of mpeg4 decoder codec breaks playline in rythmbox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
