I think I have the same or a similar problem, and I have run apport to report it but I thought additional information might be helpful. I'm running Compiz without problems but if I start Cairo-Dock with OpenGL it crashes my X session immediately and I have to log back in. If I don't use OpenGL Cairo-Dock runs fine as far as I can tell.
I'm on Lucid, with patches up-to-date, on a Lenovo Z61m with ATI x1400. Cairo-dock version is 2.1.3.6. I have saved copies of .xsession-errors with and without, and I ran Cairo-dock -l debug with and without and saved that output as well. I don't have a stacktrace, however. ** Attachment added: "xsession-errors after crash" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/44697843/xsession-errors-cairo-crash -- cairo-dock crashed with SIGSEGV in cairo_dock_initialize_opengl_backend() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
