Public bug reported: Binary package hint: transmission
For about few month from now my Ubuntu 9.10 crashes during watching TV or movies. For this time I could not correlate it to something else, but now I discovered that it happens when Transmission client is running. It happened 3-4 times yesterday and once today. In all cases Transmission were running along. Have been watching TV for hours without problems when Transmission were not running. For TV I use MeTV 1.0.0 and Acorp DS120 USB DVB-S tuner. System is updated as per 11-Apr-2010. So, what actually happens: first video stream starts glitching (no matter in fullscreen or windowed) and in few seconds everything freezes and goes to black screen. System totally stops responding till I power off it by pressing and holding power button. I was not sure what package to relate this problem to, but as I discovered it happens with Transmission running I posted it here. Thanks, Vadim.
