Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
After clicking the desktop background (to make the desktop gain focus), whenever I press the left/right/up/down keys, nautilus restarts ---i.e., all instances/windows of nautilus close, the desktop icons dissapear and then reappear after a while. I'm using Lucid (fresh install from the beta2 CD image, no upgrade), on a 64-bit machine. ...$ uname -srvmo && lsb_release -rd && apt-cache policy nautilus Linux 2.6.32-19-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 1 10:39:41 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 nautilus: Installed: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 Candidate: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 Version table: *** 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: nautilus 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-19.28-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-19-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Apr 10 23:22:34 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta amd64 (20100406) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- Nautilus restarts after pressing the arrow keys https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/560490 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
