Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
The media I was using (Verbatim DVD's) worked great until I updated to the latest release. Ubuntu 10.04 n...@nate-lt:~$ mount /dev/dvd mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error (could this be the IDE device where you in fact use ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?) In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-19.28-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-19-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 CheckboxSubmission: 95fe148367d1a4844604cd8eef168286 CheckboxSystem: b1865df84255b8716d3bcc269ff410d1 Date: Fri Apr 9 23:48:42 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-terminal InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal XsessionErrors: (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1501): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (gnome-appearance-properties:1795): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_display_sync: assertion `GDK_IS_DISPLAY (display)' failed (gnome-terminal:1932): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accel_map_unlock_path: assertion `entry != NULL && entry->lock_count > 0' failed (gnome-terminal:2077): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_accel_map_unlock_path: assertion `entry != NULL && entry->lock_count > 0' failed ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- After latest update CD drive no longer mounts. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/559796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
