I agree, very (x6) odd indeed! however, i was unsure as to it being related to ureadahead (filed a bug for it as a suggestion from someone) and am now fairly sure that ureadahead isn't the problem. the first boot with ureadahead disabled took about 20 minutes again and the same with the reprofiling boot for ureadahead, but the standard ureadahead boot was back down to about 5 minutes :)
