After doing an update - updated kernel to 2.6.32-19-generic x86_64 - updated fglrx-installer to 2:8.721-0ubuntu7
The bug is fixed. To reproduce the error (if an update was not run): 1. system menu -> administration -> Hardware Drivers 2. After the searches for the drivers, select fglrx and either enable or disable 3. During the install/removal process, gnome-power-manager error will pop up. Doing a dmesg shows: gnome-power-man[1501]: segfault at 1 ip 00007f12c09e480e sp 00007fff4fb0b790 error 4 in libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.2000.0[7f12c08de000+415000] -- gnome-power-manager crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552276 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
