I've attached a screenshot of the problem. Can't provide steps to reproduce it, as stated above this only occurs on one of my boxes. It could possibly be a side-effect of a problematic upgrade, one of the dist-upgrades crashed partway through (I can't remember exactly what the cause was, something to do with running an smp kernel back before it was obsoleted by the generic kernel), so maybe the recovery from that caused problems with things not being cleaned up properly.
As far as I'm concerned this bug can be closed/WONTFIXed, as it's a very minor issue and seems not to affect many people. I've not found any programs that are affected other than Firefox. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of problem in Firefox" http://librarian.launchpad.net/6847431/ubuntu_firefox_scrollbars_bug.jpg -- GTK+ apps show wrong scrollbars https://launchpad.net/bugs/52573 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
