I agree. Nevertheless Fedora for e.g. ships with some SELinux Monitoring application (I forgot the exact name) which is installed by default and easy to use and understand. At the moment I always have to have a look at the "/var/log/audit/audit.log" file to figure out whether something went wrong. While that's ok for me as an administrator and developer I think users should have a more meaningfull "error message" whenever something goes wrong. That's my feeling on the matter...
