Bard, I won't install a new version of Ubuntu on my PC until it's released officially. However I downloaded the image of Ubuntu 10.04 Beta and just booted my PC with it. Under the live-cd my sound doesn't work. But I have already noticed that sometimes there are differences in what works and what doesn't work between the live-cd and an installed version. So I'm not sure it isn't ok yet.
