There are a couple of issues here. If we can't set 0 as a value in syncdaemon here, it shouldn't ever return 0 as the value when we call the get methods. No API should ever return a value that it can't accept. It should specify a behavior that returns a valid value instead of the invalid one, or raise an error. Please fix the syncdaemon to either raise the error on get as well, or return a reasonable default value instead.
We can also change the preferences dialog to have a different minimum value, and thus disallow 0, but both of these fixes need to be done, not one or the other. :) ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client Assignee: Ubuntu One Desktop+ team (ubuntuone-desktop+) => Ubuntu One Foundations+ team (ubuntuone-foundations+) -- ValueError: Read/write limit must be greater than 0 in ubuntuone-preferences with disabled throttling https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/537610 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
