I've seen that word size and base are in preferences but is not so easy to make base conversions "on the fly" with that. the old version has radio buttons that permits changing base (and obtain the conversion) with just one click. As a programmer (old "C" style...) I use a lot the conversion between hex, dec and binary and the old solution with the radio buttons was easy and really fast (as nice as the clickable bits!)
Here's a screenshot of the calc thank you, a. ** Attachment added: "gcalctool no radio buttons and wrong characters" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/42756464/gcalctool%205.30.0.png -- gcalctool 5.30.0 not showing bin/dec/hex radio buttons https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552442 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
