After using my Lenovo for about a month without problems I started to see this bug from time to time (most often ... about a noon what makes me curious about cron jobs). Symptoms:

[ 6208.192638] iwlagn 0000:03:00.0: Error setting new RXON (-110) [ 6208.692607] iwlagn 0000:03:00.0: Error sending REPLY_SCAN_CMD: time out after 500ms.
