Public bug reported: Binary package hint: codeblocks
I've had CodeBlocks installed for a while, but haven't really used it until now. I just opened CodeBlocks, created a new project, and went to change CodeBlocks' environment settings. Specifically, the settings that appear to cause this crash are those related to autosave - I set it to autosave source files and projects every 10 minutes, and I set the method to "Create backup and save to original file". As soon as I click OK, CodeBlocks freezes and System Monitor shows it taking up almost 100% of available CPU power. Other environment settings, as far as I have tested, do not appear to cause this problem, but I haven't tested many of them. I am running Ubuntu Lucid and CodeBlocks version 8.02-0ubuntu4 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: codeblocks 8.02-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-17.26-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-17-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Mar 29 12:47:37 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/codeblocks InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: codeblocks ** Affects: codeblocks (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- CodeBlocks freezes when changing autosave settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/551177 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
