If I want color in this listing it is because it will be much more easy to find the name of executables that are in a package because it's a much more common way than to look for names that are in a /bin/ directory.
Even if the permission information are not in the package file it should be possible to get it by querying the system... About the second part I know apt-file... I know apt-get...
