Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager
I have tried to update to 10.04 beta using 'update-manager -d'. During "Setting new software sources" stage upgrader displayed the following error: "Could not calculate the upgrade An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade: E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages." I tried to run 'apt-get dist-upgrade' immediately and got the following error: [dotted...@vertex:~]% sudo apt-get dist-upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Calculating upgrade... Failed The following packages have unmet dependencies: telepathy-butterfly: Breaks: empathy (< 2.29.92) but 2.28.1.1-0ubuntu1 is to be installed E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
