Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager
Ubuntu 6.06.1, i386 gnome-volume-manager 1.5.15-0ubuntu10 I put an USB key to my Ubuntu desktop. USB disk was mounted and it works fine: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mount | grep sda /dev/sda1 on /media/usbdisk type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,quiet,shortname=mixed,uid=29999,gid=29999,umask=077,iocharset=utf8) But when I left mouse pointer over icon with mounted USB disk that is placed at panel, I see "ugly" characters and "(mounted)" is on next line. Maybe taht my USB key has no disk name and ugly characters are nonsense name (pointer problem?). Other mounted disk show in the same dialog names like "Floppy Drive (not mounted)", "CD-ROM 1 (not mounted)" and "9.3 GB volume (mounted)" I tried to create a screenshot of the situation but I cannot capture dialog with ugly name to my screenshot, it is hiden when I press "PrintScreen" key... ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- GNOME disk mounter shows ugly characters (no disk name?) https://launchpad.net/bugs/92460 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
