Public bug reported: Binary package hint: opennebula
On a fresh Karmic installation OpenNebula with a KVM/libvirt node onevm save does not work. The machine stays in save state forever (on the ONE master). libvirt on the node hangs afterwards and becomes irresponsive. The node was added to OpenNebula via onehost create node.domain im_kvm vmm_kvm tm_ssh On closer inspection it turns out that virsh save fails due to AppArmor rules if the checkpoint is written to any directory outside oneadmin's home. As ONE executes virsh save in /var/lib/one which belongs to oneadmin, AppArmor just holds every libvirt action/process. This should be fixed so that ONE works out of the box. opennebula: Installed: 1.2-0ubuntu6 opennebula-node: Installed: 1.2-0ubuntu6 libvirt-bin: Installed: 0.7.0-1ubuntu13.1 $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 ** Affects: opennebula (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- onevm save fails due to libvirt save failing in /var/lib/one/ due to AppArmor rules https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549418 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
