I have updatet my Ubuntu via update-manager AND THEN: Open a terminal cd /tmp wget http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/releases/telepathy-butterfly /telepathy-butterfly-0.5.7.tar.gz tar zxvf telepathy-butterfly-0.5.7.tar.gz cd telepathy-butterfly-0.5.7 sudo ./configure sudo make sudo make check sudo make install sudo make installcheck _____________________ I have no problem (yet) with my Empathy messenger. No crash report problem when I log in anymore.
