This is not a duplicate of bug 517508, which refers to inability to save
in correct format.
This bug is present in Karmic and Lucid Beta 1.
The filetype options available for saving into Microsoft PowerPoint
97/2000/XP include ppt and pps without any text to distinguish.
A ppt file is able to be opened directly in Impress for editing. A pps
file opens as a slide show, and the file extension must be changed
manually to allow editing.
The filetype options should be differentiated, e.g.
Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP Presentation - ppt
Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP Slideshow - pps
