This on a fully updated Lucid amd64 system:

My Intel Pro/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN suddenly stopped working after an
upgrade to the generic 2.6.32-17 kernel. It used to work flawlessly,
with the iwlagn module, up until (and including) 2.6.32-16. It seems
NetworkManager thinks there's still a connection, but there really
isn't. Disconnecting and reconnecting, I can sometimes get it to work
again, but only for a few seconds - sometimes even fractions of a
second, it seems. Also, this is easily reproducible: it happens whenever
I boot into the 2.6.32-17 generic 64-bit kernel.
