I got the latest live CD build a few minutes ago. I was able to run the "Check CD" option and everything behaved normally. This is an improvement from the last time I tried this option, when it ran as it should but nothing appeared on my screen.
Unfortunately, I still can't get the thing to boot on my desktop computer. I understand now that the "ureadahead" message isn't an error at all. However, it still gets stuck just after mounting (or trying to mount) the swap partition. I suspect that the network card has just been activated, because there is some blinking of the lights on my ethernet switch. -- unable to install or start as live-cd daily build 22.12.09 Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/499399 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
