After looking over the package in more detail, I strongly agree with Sebastian.
Our existing stetic package does not work with this new monodevelop, so we'd need to update Stetic to the latest version too, or hackishly ship binary stetic modules in Monodevelop 0.13 itself. All of this is not worth the chances of regression. When Feisty+1 opens, I'd be happy to backport 0.13 into Feisty. I have made some highly at-your-own-risk debs available at: http://web.mit.edu/~jdong/www/bittorrent/ This is just 0.13 sources against 0.12 packaging, with overridden stetic.dll from monodevelop upstream source tarballs. I am using it and it works fine, but I offer absolutely no guarantee about its safety. -- Request Version 0.13 https://launchpad.net/bugs/87562 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
