I am having problems with my ATI Mobility M6 LY [Radeon Mobility 9000] on my Sony PCG-V505AP laptop. If I use the dual head (connecting a CRT to the VGA-out) a freeze will occur within 1-20 mins. It doesn't matter if I use Xinerama or just two separate X-screens. When not using dual- head I am having no problems. I haven't tried the fglrx driver since my card is not supported by that. No difference between ati or radeon driver. Also please note, that I use a higher CRT resolution than on the LCD.
