I totally agree with all the people that don't want such a big change in an LTS. As Mark said: He wants to free space for something "NEW", but people want to work with an LTS for several years and don't want to be bothered by a design based on an "in between" conception. If you're sure you want to do it, ok, keep discussing with the community and implement it in 10.10 but NOT IN A LTS-Version!
