Not fixed, it turns out. (Thanks for reminding me to check - I'd gone back to Karmic.)
I resume to a blank screen, the backlight cycles on, off, and on again, and then I get a dialog letting me know that ubuntu is running in low graphics mode (or the x server is not working, or something like that). The first option, to run in a reduced graphics mode, works fine; restarting the x server doesn't. Resume still works perfectly if I initiate the suspend from the menu. ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- Blank screen on (otherwise successful) resume from suspend (when suspend was initiated by closing the lid) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/513654 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
