Binary package hint: plymouth
I noticed that while Ubuntu is booting, plymouthd very often failed on
segfault:
/var/log/syslog

It's not reproducible reliably, but it happens very often.
I don't know what functionality is affected. I don't see any problem (except
the syslog)
