Public bug reported: I have just installed a fresh copy of Feisty Herd5 Server i386 on a HP 7600 desktop pc to do some eval. The installation went fine, however when i rebooted to install some other packages, it turns out that I cannot mount any cdroms.
The following error was displayed when i tried to mount the cdrom. mount: special mount device /dev/scd0 does not exist As you can see from the above message, the device does not exist (which i did double check). thanks chris ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- cdrom device does not exist https://launchpad.net/bugs/91876 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
