Ok, I re-recorded the screencast w/o the extra information and attached it.
I type the first three letters of the email address, the auto-complete pops up and I hit <TAB>. Note the comma incorrectly inserted. In most cases, this results in email getting erroneously sent to someone who should not get it because the rest of the email address ends up getting interpolated by the mail server. I clear it out though, and then type "jlm" and hit <TAB>, and it works correctly the second time. This is repeatable with this address every time I open a new message. Where precisely the comma gets inserted seems to depend on how quickly I hit <TAB>. If I wait a few moments, it will sometimes be inserted later, in the middle of his surname. I've noticed this with a couple other recipients, but this one is repeatable every time. I have these contacts stored in the Ubuntu One couchDB. In fact, I only recall seeing this problem after I started using that. Let me know if there is more I can do! ** Attachment added: "Screencast demonstrating incorrect behavior." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/40888626/out-1.ogv -- autofill problem evolution enter breaks address https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300637 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
