blackest_knight: I fully agree with you, we tried to include usb- modeswitch by default, but we missed a feature freeze deadline (as it requires rather serious testing and changes, it didn't pass for freeze exception). It would be recommended for OEMs to include it in preinstalls. However, if would try to install usb-modeswitch and then test E620 again, at least we would know that this isn't a bug against usb-modeswitch and we could postpone fixing a bug, not making it invalid :)
