** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: seahorse

  1. ubuntu 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-19-generic
  2. seahorse 2.28.1
  3. when i click change passphrase in "Passwords and Encryption Keys", or
click "Decrypt/Verify" in gedit, the window entitled "Passphrase" should allow
my to type my password.
  4. i cannot type into the passphrase entry area. instead, i have to press the
"Esc" key, then I get another box where i can enter the password, and THAT one
works.

The text of the first box that doesn't let me type:
"Passphrase. You need a passphrase to unlock the secret key "James Dean
<jamesd...@junk.com>" 1024-bit DSA key, ID 8AAAAAAA, created 2009-10-07.
Passphrase: ________. Cancel. OK."

The text of the second box that does work:
"Enter passphrase for "James Dean <jamesd...@junk.com>". Password:
___________"

Also, If I allow a test file (encrypted from within gedit using the
plugin) to try to open with "Decrypt File", even the second passphrase
box does not work. I have to choose to open with gedit from the list,
and then I get the above described behavior after clicking
  "Decrypt/Verify" in the edit menu.

Since I get this issue even in the Change Passphrase tool, i think it is
seahorse-wide, not just the gedit plugin.
