I wanted to let everyone know that thanks for someone who posted to the Ubuntu forums, I now seem to have a solution for the problem with loosing the network connection for a second or so every two minutes. The solution was to ditch gnome-network-manager and switch to using wicd ..
sudo apt-get install wicd I found the suggestion on the Ubuntu forums at the following link: http://ubuntuforums.org/printthread.php?t=1309517 Note that I still see the 'spam' rt_ioctl_giwscan messages in the log files but the actual network dropping seems to have been fixed. -- Linksys By Cisco WUSB600N v2 Doesn't Work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/408165 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
