Thank you for providing a link to the file. The behavior does not seem
to be present in Firefox 3.7. However, I have confirmed this bug on
Firefox 3.6.2 on Ubuntu 10.04.
Strangely, the Archive Manager was not found for the tar.gz file you
provided, but it was found just fine for other tar.gz files I tried.
Also, going to the /tmp/ folder, I was able to open the tar.gz you
provided just fine. I am marking this Confirmed and will continue to
test this in order to try to find the exact cause of the issue.
