I had this problem with my tx 1270, around 30% of the suspends never
came back to life again. This was something that was introduced in
karmic, I never had it with jauntu. For different reasons I decided to
"downgrade" from 64 bit Ubuntu to 32 bit Ubuntu and the suspend problem
was gone. There is apparently a lot of 64 bit related problems in Ubuntu
when it comes to hardware support.
