This bug can probably be removed as I believe I erroneously attributed it to Konqueror when it was a server side problem instead.
I switched the server to Debian etch around the same time that I switched the client to feisty, after that change was made it seems that nfs mounts are defaulting to nfs2 rather than nfs3, and the nfs2 4gb file limitation was causing the incorrect size reporting. For whatever reason I cannot mount nfs3 even when specifying it directly, always getting: mount to NFS server '192.168.0.3' failed: server is down. But I was able to switch to nfs4 and that is functional I installed edgy on a laptop and tried to mount the same nfs share via nfs3 and got the same error, so as I ran into the same problem under both edgy and feisty I think it can probably be attributed to something other than Konqueror under feisty. -- Konqueror does not correctly display mounted NFS share properties https://launchpad.net/bugs/90064 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
