@draycen: empathy uses vinagre for desktop sharing and vinagre does
support low color depths now. so far empathy can't use this feature, but
it's not clear where to fix that. maybe in empathy or in vinagre or in
both. therefore i set it too confirmed for both, as multiple people
already reported it on Bug #203782.
