@Everyone: First, everything in this bug looks to be hardware related due to all the rfkill issues. The issues are not related to Lucid or Karmic or any other Linux, unfortunately. Because of this, I am moving the bug state to Invalid so that it is removed from the bugs we are tracking as regressions against Lucid.
