I applied the patch at http://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/66372/ to the ubuntu_kernel branch. It doesn't apply cleanly, so I had to manually apply a few of the changes. After rebooting into the new kernel, I'm still having problems, I can try to connect, but the syslog just keeps filling up with the following message which echos every few hundred milliseconds.
b43-phy0 ERROR: MAC suspend failed This appears to happen only after I try to connect to a WPA-PEAP encrypted network. I can connect to an insecure access point without any problems, provided I haven't attempted the WPA connection since wireless networking was last enabled. Attached is the diff generated by git, for anyone who wants to work on debugging this. ** Patch added: "Patch applying Patchwork patch to Ubuntu-Kernel" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39925950/kernel-b43.diff -- Lucid: b43 fatal DMA error on Dell Mini 9 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/502433 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
