Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
Trying to check the install disk for defects (lucid alpha 3) blanks the screen so you can't tell if the disk is good or bad. After the disk stops spinning (presumably after the check completes) ctl-alt-del is needed to regain control of the computer. This has happened on both the 32 & 64 bit disks on 2 different computers. Dell P-4 and HP Q6600. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- disk defect checker fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/529768 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
