Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

If:
1) Ubuntu is installed with no internet connection
2) then, after installation has finished, the internet connection becomes active
3) then, software-center is launched and a package is selected
4) the only button you can press is "more info" (no install button is present
as software catalog is not updated)
5) then the button "more info" is pressed
6) then the button "update now" is pressed in order to update software catalog
7) then a windows with the info "Sorry, Ubuntu Software Center closed
unexpectedly" is displayed
8) at this point if you try to press "report a problem" another pop-up window
is displayed with the info "the problem cannot be reported: this is not a
genuine Ubuntu package)

This is not related to bug #511260 as this issue is related to the
"update now" function of software-center whereas bug #511260 is related
to pop-up windows that randomly appears during the "normal" use of the
software-center.

Tested with 10.04 development branch (20100224)

** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
